Eliza Lupone joins the Grand Tour Project
Eliza, class of 2013, a major in mathematics and computer science, came to the GT Project interested in exploring what her data-science skills and knowledge could do for humanities research. She started by doing data cleaning for the Phase I database, then in 2013 she also worked on the architects case-study dataset, and even managed to establish how many of the eighteenth-century British architects listed in the Dictionary of Architects went on the Grand Tour: it's 7 to 25%, varying through decades of the century:
