Rachel Midura joins the Grand Tour Project

Rachel Midura, PhD candidate in early modern European history at Stanford, joins the Grand Tour Project. She was the webmaster for the first project’s webpage, and she has been long experimenting with the project’s data visualizations: she has assisted organizing the workshops and worked with many participants to build apt visualizations for their papers (especially using Palladio). She has been working with the data herself, trying out network visualizations, as well as data analysis for a paper on travel infrastructure at the 2017 workshop. She is also now working to co-edit the workshop papers' publication and to co-teach a course on the Grand Tour for academic year 2018-19.
