Molly Taylor-Poleskey joins Grand Tour Project

Molly Taylor-Poleskey, now Assistant Professor of Digital History at Middle Tennesse State University, was the first researcher to join Giovanna Ceserani in the Grand Tour Project. Over the next three years, while completing her PhD in early modern European History at Stanford, she was crucial to a number of ventures. She worked relentlessly on building the manually-drawn database of Phase I. In addition, among other things, she was a great ambassador, and alongside Sarah, presented the first public lecture on the Grand Tour Project, focused on the Priestley Timeline. She also developed her own work on Burney's musical tour of Italy, published in the CESTA Anthology, and she came back to help in the organization of the Grand Tour Project's first workshop.
